I’ve been passionately involved with photography for over 20 years now – the last 15 professionally. My decision to study photography emerged whilst travelling. A desire to acquire the technical knowledge my creative side was seeking. This led me to Sydney’s Ultimo TAFE for the benchmark – a Diploma in Commercial Photography.
After completing my course in 2000 I decided to take a working holiday, culminating in a rare opportunity to work as a contract photographer in Kakadu National Park and Arnhem Land, specialising in landscape, wildlife and cultural photography.
Since that auspicious beginning, I’ve involved myself in a myriad of freelance projects and full-time work. One particular highlight was as a staff photographer and writer with a hugely successful publishing house, shooting for 5 various travel and lifestyle magazines.
Since becoming a Dad, I knew constant travel was no longer an option so a new journey began – photographing Architecture and Interiors.
I’m incredibly proud to have won the Best of Houzz Awards for Service and Design Photography for the 7th consecutive year! At the end of 2017, I also started regular contract photography with Airbnb for the holiday property industry.
